Hip Labral Tear

Hip Hamstring Tear

Hamstring Tears (Proximal hamstring avulsion) of the tendon from the pelvis are becoming recognised much more commonly. If left untreated it may leave the athlete with chronic thigh pain, a protracted recovery course and a weaker hamstring compared to those surgically repaired

Knee ACL Injury

Commonly, the ACL is injured in a non-contact injury where the knee ‘twists’ during foot landing or push-off. The feeling or sound of a “pop” may be experienced, followed by pain, swelling and instability of the knee joint.

Knee Meniscal Tear

The meniscus in the knee, are two C-shaped fibrocartilage structures that are positioned between the femur and the tibia. Due to the complex movements of the knee joint, combined with general wear and tear with life, the meniscus can be prone to injury, particularly with twisting and squatting.

Patella Dislocation

Patella instability is a condition where the patella (knee cap) is not guided centrally in the knee, and falls off to the side. This causes pain and apprehension in movement, stopping patients from having an active life.
